Considering the distribution logistics problem - wouldn't it make sense for Sharon to sell her singles and albums directly from her website shop ?

For some reason I can't edit my own post - so here is further info - there is a 3-CD retrospective titled 'The Corrs, Works' and it is available on Amazon.com as item 24 on page 2 of The Corrs listing.

No, Andrea had a short interview where she spoke about Paddy Moloney from the Chieftains. The Corrs will be mentioned as a group in the August 2010 - Music of Ireland - Part 2. The website says Andrea will be interviewed again and we will hear some soundtrack. During the segment yesterday, Ms. Brennan spent time talking about different inidividuals and groups that were pivotal to Irish music becoming what it is today. Along with the discussion of these influential groups, Irish musical stars, like Andrea, were interviewed to interject their views on the music of these groups. In August, the Corrs will be one of the groups discussed. The program will be dealing with the newer generation Irish music.

Enjoy it, my friend! It's very well produced and the music is lovely, as always. You won't be disappointed.

It does. But she'd still need to get products into the shop and digital media onto other outlets like iTunes and Amazon in order to reach people who might just purchase if they see it, but wouldn't happen by her site. If you're on Twitter, you should mention that to her.

Ah, okay, thanks. I knew about Part 2, and I knew that's where the Corrs fit in. I just wasn't sure how much she was interviewed about the earlier Irish music. Eventually I'll get around to watching it.

I meant that selling from her website should only be a back-up, not the main didtribution method. Website sales would not be aimed at the general public, but rather to fans who already visit her site and have difficulty buying her material in their countries. the ratio of sales would probably be 10:1 in favor of regular distribution methods.

In that case, then yes, definitely.

If you go to www.musicofireland.com, then click on "media", go to "videos", scroll down to the bottom video saying "The Chieftains" (or simply go here) and fast forward to approx. 1.10, you can see Andrea speaking about Paddy
